This is probably a once in a lifetime accomplishment but I am thrilled to report that 4 different Sonview Ranch doe kids were named Champion under the 4 judges at the Beat the Heat show last week-end! Plus Sonview Ranch had both Champion and Res Champion Jr under 3 of the 4 judges. Sonview Ranch Posy, being shown for the first time, took the first Championship (Someone missed out because this doe kid was available all year but no one snatched her up) In ring 2, Sonview Ranch Neevia was Champion. Ring 3 gave Sonview Ranch Niva her Champion leg and in ring 4, Sonview Ranch Paragon was named Champion. Sonview Ranch Prize went Res Champion in 2 rings at her very first show. (and she too was offered to a new herd all year but is now being retained.)

To start off our week-end at the wonderful HCGA Beat the Heat Summer Show in Ferndale on Sat, 2 year old Sonview Ranch Martina was awarded Res Champion. Congratulations
to Amanda Weber on winning Champion with Quaking Canopy Jackie Kennedy. In the next ring, Sonview Ranch Martina won Champion, and Best Udder. Congratulations
to Alisha Brown on winning Res Champion. On Sunday, Alisha Brown’s beautiful doe Walsh Kids M Sierra Nevada, was Champion under both judges. Congratulations
to Amanda on Quaking Canopy Olly Olly being awarded Res Champion in ring 3 and then Sonview Ranch Martina was again Res Champion in ring 4. She is a very exciting little doe and I can hardly wait to watch as she matures.

Sonview Ranch had an amazing weekend at the “Beat the Heat Summer Show” in Ferndale, CA July 30th & 31st, 2022. Huge thanks to the Humboldt County Goat Association for working so hard to put on a wonderful, well organized, welcoming and fun show! Great job!
We took six senior does and six junior does to compete against some top quality Nigerian Dwarf herds and it was a super pleasant surprise to have our does do so well.
